We're over the moon to share that Joanne Glover, our CEO, has officially become an Ask For Angela Ambassador.
 
Through Joanne's leadership, Coventry has continued to strengthen its night-time economy, including the commitment to creating a safe, well-managed and enjoyable evening and night-time environment with Purple Flag status.

As a strong advocate for the Ask For Angela scheme in Coventry, Joanne has driven its promotion across the city centre, encouraging venues to adopt the initiative so staff are better equipped to assist anyone who may feel vulnerable while out socialising.
 
We'd like to wish Joanne every success in her ambassadorship and thank her for her on-going to commitment to this incredible initiative.

BID UPDATES
a day in the life of BID Street patrol
The Coventry BID Security team's catch-up last week started with an important refresher on Bleed Kit awareness. 
 
They revisited what the kits contain, when they may be needed, and how to use them effectively. 
 
It was a valuable reminder of why the team carries these kits while on patrol and how quick, confident action can make a real difference in an emergency.

Following the briefing, the team headed out through the historical parts of the city - which are always busy with visitors and locals alike - meaning that maintaining a visible and friendly presence is key.

Later in the day, patrols moved to the retail outlets to touch base with staff, check that everything was running smoothly, and continue engagement with the local business community.
