ORELAND WEEKLY BUILDING UPDATE
3/13/26

Hi Bridge Family!

Before we jump into this week’s update, we want to say thank you. The response from the congregation to the recent request to increase short-term giving to help close the gap for our initial renovation costs this spring has been overwhelming, Your generosity and willingness to step in during this season is deeply encouraging and a reminder of how God continues to provide through His people!

In the Building This Week
  • Our March 7th Work Day was very productive!
    • We collected all the bricks we needed (and more!) for the exterior wall.
    • The fellowship hall ceiling was cleaned. A big shout out to Loren and Lawrence for taking on this very tedious job and seeing it through to completion!
    • The ceiling grid was cleaned and painted. There is just a little more to finish and then we will be ready for ceiling tile.
  • Bathroom Expansion Progress: Delran continues their work expanding the bathrooms. The floor was cut and removed. The old waste lines were taken out and new PVC plumbing has been installed where sinks and toilets will be located in the new design.
  • Radiator Covers: A local body shop has generously agreed to paint the radiator covers for the fellowship hall. We’re very excited about this new connection and the help it provides!
  • Sanctuary Projectors: We will be picking up two projectors this week for the sanctuary. Yay!
  • Momentum is Building: The pace of work is picking up, and the calendar seems to be turning quickly. With so many moving pieces, we especially need people praying during this season.

Save the Dates for Upcoming Work Days!

More work days are coming up, and we’d love to have you join us:
  • March 28th: 9am–1pm
  • April 11th: 9am–1pm
  • April 25th: 9am–1pm
More information about what to expect on these work days will be provided closer to each one as it approaches. These days make a real difference in helping move this project forward!

Praises
  • Gratitude for the congregation’s generous response to the request for increased short-term giving.
  • A productive work day and continued forward momentum in the renovation.
Prayer Requests
  • Favor and clarity at the March 23rd Zoning Hearing Board meeting.
  • Continued wisdom for those overseeing the project and making decisions.
  • Safety and strength for everyone working in the building.
Thank you for continuing to pray, serve, and support what God is doing in and through our church family! We could not do this without you!

With gratitude,
