Mortgage rates hit 3-year lows to end February and currently sit at a 7-month high. What gives?
Here's what happened the last 3+ weeks in plain English:
The war in Iran prompted a global repositioning on the reigning in of inflation. Rising oil and gas prices leads to higher energy costs. Higher energy costs lead to higher cost of transportation, manufacturing and household energy costs.
Higher costs leave worldwide central banks questioning further interest rate cuts in 2026. Higher rates for longer is being repriced into today's markets.
Phil & Rose got dressed up for a snazzy night on the town.
Meanwhile, Levi is celebrating the start of spring with a Happy Meal. Buh da buh buh bahhhh!
Finally, we were lucky enough to participate in an Easter egg hunt at church! Lettuce pray. A joke here? Whose hare-brained idea was this?!
