&
2026 predictions 🔮

2025 saw a lot of layers, bobs and long, feminine hair.
2026 is getting bolder, shorter and edgier.

Hey First name / beautiful,

I'm not even gonna sugarcoat how hard it is for me to sit at a desk and write out a newsletter in these times 😆 The world has gone to shambles and yet here we are wanting to make sure we look and feel our very best.

I've been thinking about all the haircut trends that have emerged over the last year and how we're moving to a different direction in 2026. So let's recap the major haircut trends of 2025 and what I think will be big in 2026 🔮

✂️ 2025 RECAP
  1. Bobs. No surprise there. Every girl and her puppy seemed to be getting some version of a bob haircut. Layered, blunt, razored, straight, with and without bangs. I could create an entire list of just bob haircuts, but I think you get the gist.

  2. Bangs. All kinds. I've done baby bangs, wispy, blunt straight across, curtain, long, medium and short. I even cut mine myself because I got bored with the slicked back look. BUT the most requested bangs were curtain bangs.

In 2024 Sabrina Carpenter bangs were all the rage, but since they are high maintenance, we started going a little softer for easy styling.

  3. Long haircuts. We loved to keep our hair long and add shorter face framing bits for a little bit of ALL worlds.

  4. Shorter layers for movement and volume, slowly moving into shag haircut territory. Towards the end of the year, lots of clients were asking for crown layers and volume at the top - a look that was scary to most in 2024.

✂️ 2026 PREDICTIONS

  1. Wispy bangs. Bangs ain't goin' nowhere. But they are getting wispier and sexier. This is an awesome transition from 2024 & 2025 curtain bangs that fell heavy. Wispy bangs give you the option to sweep them to the side or wear them in the middle.

  2. Pixies. And short, bolder haircuts. I love seeing more women embrace short hair. I've even had clients come back to take their haircuts shorter from a medium length to above the shoulder. It's striking and an amazing way to start the year!

  3. More layers. We're loving shorter face framing layers that emphasize the jawline, cheekbones, and adding volume to the crown. We aren't afraid of taking out density if it means hair will move, breathe, and they're able to wear it naturally.

  4. Wearable shags/wolf cuts. These haircuts are my favorite. These are a longer version of a wolf cut that blend between feminine layers and a cool, 70's shag. They incorporate bangs (your choice), face framing layers, crown layers for volume and movement, and a curvy shape that looks like an hourglass from the side.

  5. Natural, wavy texture haircuts, worn with just a little creme and diffused or air dried. We're moving away from straight blowdries and stiff looks.

  6. Flippy Bobs. Hailey Bieber's new textured flippy bob is kinda cool. I'm so into it.

✨ PRODUCT OF THE MONTH ✨
BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO
The OG of dry shampoos and the most loved.
I'll be honest, I never liked it until recently. There must be a difference in the Canadian vs UK formula, cuz I love the Dubai version.
It leaves your hair feeling soft, pliable and without residue.
Most dry shampoos are gritty and full of headache-inducing perfume.
