Hi First name / friend,

Popping in your inbox because I've been thinking lately about how important and simple music is as a vibrational reset or match – the melody, the tones, the words sung, the way that music can shift your energy and the energy of a space quickly. I also believe dancing is one of the highest vibrational things you can do. It's somatic work (nervous system work), cellular coherence, tending to your fascia (superhighway of electrical information in the body) and maybe even something that brings you joy. Music is medicine. And it's can definitely be a tool for manifesting.

My suggestion to you is to start a rolling playlist (I use Spotify) of songs that uplift you, bring you back to time and place where you felt free, abundant, in flow, high vibe, etc etc. The more frequently you place yourself in this higher vibrational states – two things happen:

1. Your body can access these states more readily.
2. You're setting a new energetic set point of creation for yourself by more frequently holding higher frequencies.

Also, pick songs that reflect your future self and the life you're moving towards. Are there certain songs, with certain words or messages, that remind you of what you're building and why? Add those.

Be mindful of the words sung in songs. Words are spells, hence spelling. And I have more to say on this (because the English language was essentially a bi-product of hundreds of years of invasions, war and a quest for global expansion, created for men – which is why it's a masculine language, and why sensitive women have a harder time expressing the nuances of our female experience, we quite literally don't have the words in our language for so much of what we feel language), but for now … choose songs with words that align with uplifting, joyful energy or the energy of your future self. Become really good at observing what language, what words, what spells you're letting into your field.

Unless you're having a “silence is GOLDEN” moment, play this playlist it in the car between errands, commutes, sports practices, whatever. Use it as a manifesting tool.

AND on the same note, if this resonates, maybe even add a song or two that evokes tears. One of my teachers who is a big proponent of the micro shifts – 1-2 minute things we can do each day to discharge stress and clear emotions – says to set a “cry date” with yourself. Hear me out. When we give ourself space and time to let emotions flow, we release what is wanting to move up and out rather than shoving it down. If we don't honor what our emotional self is feeling – good, uncomfortable and everything in between – these unfelt feelings get pushed into the unconscious, which then gets stored in the body, and eventually manifests as seemingly unrelated physical symptoms. I know it may sound weird, but letting things flow keeps you in flow. Bottling emotions or stress up keeps you stuck, your energy stagnant.

Oh, and if you're a singer … SING or hum. The vibrations that occur in your throat (your fifth chakra, center of our ability to express ourselves authentically, and the bridge between your heart and mind) moves energy that may get stuck from the words we swallow, the fears we're not articulating, and any disconnection between our heart and mind. Singing is literal medicine for bringing these things into balance, and you into a more harmonious state. Humming also helps to keep your fascia hydrated, which we want for a healthier nervous system – and because our body is literally a quantum antennae, with the fascia being a foundational part of this broadcast system.

I mean … everything is energy. Let's keep it simple, throw on some good tunes, and make it as high vibe as possible.

Here's my playlist if you need some inspiration, but of course, yours will be unique to you.

xx Laurie
