gardening tip of the week

Y’all know I love a good moisture meter, but I just found one during the Big Spring Sale that does even more. It measures your soil pH, checks moisture levels, and even tells you how much sun or shade your garden is getting.

 

So many of you asked me last week how to tell if your yard is full sun or part sun, and this little tool takes all the guesswork out of it. It really gives you everything you need to know before you plant a single thing.

 

Before you dig another hole, test your spot first. You want to be sure your part sun hydrangeas are not going to end up baking in that summer heat. And as a bonus, you will know exactly how much lime to add to your soil to get those beautiful periwinkle blooms just right.

If you’re getting your garden ready for spring, this is such a good time to pick up a few things you’ve had your eye on while the Big Spring Sale is in full swing! 

 

From planters and tools to a few special touches that make your home feel extra inviting, there are some really great deals worth seeing before the sales end soon.
