DeSales is hiring an AmeriCorps Summer Associate to strengthen our Community Services Coordination (CSC) programming. This position focuses on connecting affordable housing tenants and neighbors to resources that promote housing stability, economic empowerment, youth development, and physical and mental health.

 

The Summer Associate will coordinate and evaluate public health programming, including our free summer youth baseball league and monthly community partner presentations.

the desales community garden is waking up! 🌻🌱

 

Nestled in the middle of the 2600 block of California Ave., the DeSales Community Garden is a neighborhood oasis where community and fresh, healthy food flourish. Our garden currently boasts 19 individual garden beds and 5 shared beds, a welcoming patio with picnic tables, a Missouri native plant garden, and lots of community spirit.

 

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious, there’s a place for you here. Come grow with us!
