Hey friend,
Last week, we talked about new beginnings.
About letting God do a new thing in your life.
But here’s the part we don’t always talk about…
New beginnings require letting go of old things.
Spring is here.
And while we’re cleaning our homes…
God might be inviting us to clean our hearts too.
While you’re cleaning out your closet—
getting rid of what no longer fits…
release the thoughts and beliefs
that no longer align with God’s word for your life.
While you’re wiping down surfaces—
clearing off what’s been sitting too long…
ask God to show you what you’ve allowed to settle in your spirit
that was never meant to stay.
While you’re taking out the trash—
letting go of what you no longer need…
release the habits, patterns, and cycles
that are keeping you stuck in an old version of yourself.
While you’re opening the windows—
letting fresh air in…
invite God to renew your mind
and shift your perspective.
Because the truth is…
You can pray for a new season
and still be holding on to the last one.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
So as you clean your space…
set the atmosphere too.
This isn’t just a new season.
It’s a reset.
A release.
A realignment.
