Hello, First name / friend of Harmabee Arts!

As the first quarter of the year comes to a close, we reflect on all the transformation we have experienced within our communities.

At Harambee Arts, we witness it every day—how creativity becomes a bridge, how community becomes a source of strength, and how even in the midst of hardship, hope continues to rise.

This season, that truth has been woven into every gathering, every story shared, and every piece of art created.

Caregivers “Love” Mural
At the end of every two-month cohort of caregiver sessions, participants choose one word to describe their experience.

This latest group chose: LOVE.

Love for themselves.
Love for one another.
Love for those struggling around the world—young and old.

What began as individual stories of hardship and resilience became something shared, something collective. That love didn’t just stay within the group—it found expression, taking shape in something visible.

Community Mural in Honor of Concy
In loving memory of Concy, our beloved girl who passed away at age five due to health complications, Harambee Arts came together with the community to create a mural that honors her life and spirit.

In a society where many are facing profound and complex challenges, Harambee Arts continues to stand at the forefront—offering presence, compassion, and unwavering support. Through creative expression, we walk alongside our participants as they navigate hardship, loss, and healing.

This mural is more than a tribute. It is a reflection of love shared and multiplied. In giving love, we receive even more in return.

Parents and Grandparents share wisdom and spread joy
We are thrilled to begin our 10th cohort, continuing to support caregivers within the community.

Spending time with parents and grandparents, we are reminded again and again of the power of a safe, loving space—one where caregivers are free to express every emotion without judgment. In these spaces, something shifts.

At the end of each two-month session, we hear reflections like:
“I am happy.”
“I am changed.”
“If I were queen, I would end poverty and ensure everyone is doing well.”

These words carry the weight of transformation.
Because when caregivers are supported, hope is restored.
Dignity is strengthened.

And possibility begins to grow—not just for individuals, but for entire communities.

Lastly, if you haven't heard, we’ve created a new five-minute film that offers a closer look at the heart of Harambee Arts:

The history.
The communities.
The healing.

This uplifting film captures not only what we do, but why we do it — and how your support continues to shape lives across Kenya and Nepal.

We invite you to watch it, share it with others, and celebrate the impact you are part of.

This is the heartbeat of Harambee Arts.

Love that shows up.
Love that listens.
Love that creates space for healing, expression, and transformation.

And this work is only possible because of people like you.

When you become a Harambee Arts Patron, you are helping create these spaces—ensuring that caregivers, children, and communities continue to have access to the support, spaces to express themselves, and the connection they deserve.

You're not just giving, you're becoming part of the story.
Thank you for the continued support you show us at Harambee Arts. You are making a lasting impact!
