🜁 Expanding Light

The Spring Equinox marked a point of balance—day and night held in equal measure—before the light began to extend its reach.
Since then, things have moved.
Quickly.
Decisively.
What was forming has begun to take shape.
Fire Horse
There are moments when a piece carries something beyond its making. FIRE HORSE - CADENCE  in Amber- has been one of those works. A study in momentum, tension, and directed force—instinct guided by clarity.

This spring, the Fire Horse was acquired by Sigler Museum (formerly  Desert Caballeros Western Museum) as part of Cowgirl Up! in Wickenburg, Arizona.

A meaningful placement.
The work finding its ground.

🜃 In the Studio: What Is Incubating

The WILD WITHIN SERIES - ATTUNEMENT (Mule Deer)  piece has now moved into the foundry phase for molding and casting.

There is a threshold when a work leaves the studio. The form is set, but the transformation continues. Clay giving way to bronze or glass. Gesture becoming permanence.

This piece is currently intended for exhibition at :
Altamira Fine Art in Jackson, WY opening September 4, a show with Rocky Hawkins.
Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, IN the following weekend, September 11. This will be my 3rd year at this show.

🜂 Expanding the Field

Alongside the sculpture work, I’ve begun shaping the visual field that will carry this next body of work forward.
I’m currently collaborating with Alessandra Giordano to capture the textures, environments, and quiet moments that exist around the finished pieces.

Not only documentation, but atmosphere.
A world that holds the work.

This will form the foundation for a new website and a more cohesive expression in the months ahead.

🜄 A Quiet Reorganization

This season has required a bit of reorganization as we make our annual trek to Southern California for training with White Horse Eventing.

Not everything has been stable.
But what is essential has clarified.

The work continues from there.
