Dear Friend, Throughout the month I collect different stories, songs, words, ideas, and other things I liked that I think you might enjoy as well. Here's the list for March (I think I blinked and all of a sudden it was over?!) with a few updates from my little corner of the world. I hope there's something you connect with and find inspiring, enriching, joyful, or relatable.

💙 May's Mail Club Project: Cyanotype Prints! I am SO excited about getting to share this artform--it's easy to do, fun, and full of possibilities! 🎼 You Gotta Be Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds. Try and keep your head up to the sky. In 4th grade, my friend Jessica was sleeping over when her mom stopped by to drop off a cassette tape of this song by Des'ree. Colleen was excited for us to listen to it and said it was a great song that made her think of us. We liked it but didn't fully understand it. I recently heard this song on the radio--32 years later!-- and completely get why she shared it with us. I'd love for you to listen to it too.

 

💯 The Possibility of 100 Days Whether you're starting a new 100 Day Project, in the middle of one, or have 8 days left like me (I can't believe it!), keep at it! (And if you want to make it more accessible and do a smaller amount of days, that's OK too.) I'll be hosting a 21 Every Days Project every season this year so if you'd like to join me for that, I'll be sending out more details soon for the spring edition. In the meantime, if you're new around here, this is a list of resources I put together for these type of projects!

 

🦅 Make Windows Safe For Birds It's spring in the Northern hemisphere and I'm so excited to see more birds as winter melts away. One easy way to help them is to make sure they don't fly into our windows. Here's a DIY guide or you can order deterrents here--both links are from Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

 

🧸 The Toymaker is such a delightful site with a bunch of free print outs for paper toy that move, stationery, gift boxes, holiday crafts, and more. The illustrations remind me of a different time. Thank you Quinny for sending this to me!

💌 Postcard Swap Thank you to everyone who joined! A friendly reminder to please send out all postcards by 4/11 (many of you have been so fast and gotten yours out already!). If you don't see your swap matches in your inbox (they were sent out Sat 3/28 in the evening) please check all your folders and tabs and email me if it's nowhere to be found. I try to host swaps at least a few times a year so if you missed this one, keep an eye out for a future one :)

 

🎉 Speaking of mail, this is such a sweet story about 2 friends who have sent each other the same birthday card back and forth for 81 years!!
