🧶 Weku Yarn have developed a brand new yarn line, Bukom DK. Milled in Yorkshire and made with a custom blend of BFL and Corriedale, this wonderful blend of fibres is perfect for colourwork, cables and texture. The BFL adds a lovely sheen and drape, whilst the Corriedale adds a bounce to the yarn. The collection features a rainbow of 11 colours to choose from.

 

➿ Loop, Hook, Loom: A creative collection of textile art made with yarn and thread by Sophia Cai is a celebration of creative textile practices that looks at the work of 35 different artist from around the globe. The book will be released worldwide on 30 April 2026 (UK) and 5 May 2026 (AU + US)

🫶🏾 Jeanette Sloan will be a guest speaker on Longmont Yarn Shoppe's Fiberside Chats. Over an hour long Zoom event she will share her passion for beaded knitting and talk about her recently published beaded knitting book.

 

📖 The Keep Calm and Carry Yarn podcast is hosting their 6th annual Archive KCAL (Knit and Crochet Along). Participants are encouraged to cast on a project that they've had your eyes on for a while, but never got around to actually making. And there will be a prize draw, even if you don't finish your project!

 

🛍️ Crochet designer Tiana Esparon will be selling her pieces that aren't available on her website yet like Bubble Bags, a new Fringe clutch bag and bag charms all month at the iconic Greenwich Market.
