In this bonus April newsletter edition, I had a couple of quick updates I wanted to share with you all.
I am currently down in Great Smoky Mountains National Park enjoying the glorious visual splendor of spring in Appalachia, and I'm lucky enough to be sharing it with friends this year. It has been very dry and consistently sunny which is quite unusual for this region at this time of the year. Despite that, I'm excited about the images I've made here so far. In particular, I wanted to share a pair of brand new images that I think demonstrate the power of keeping an open mind, so I've written a short blog post for you on this topic.
I also want to share that today is the last day for the subscriber only pricing on The Nature of Place: Personal Narratives in Landscape Photography. To everyone who has already purchased it and taken the time to reach out: THANK YOU for being part of our journey. As we approach the official release of the ebook tomorrow, Earth Day (April 22nd), your kindness and enthusiasm is a powerful reminder of how much photography is rooted in connection - not just to place, but to each other.
If you’ve been considering the book, now is the time - use the code SIXVOICES to purchase The Nature of Place for $25 through the rest of today (you can still use the code tomorrow for the official release price of $29).
