ORELAND WEEKLY BUILDING UPDATE
4/10/26

Hi Bridge Family,
There’s been a lot of steady progress in the building these past two weeks, and it’s exciting to see things continue to take shape! We’re thankful for everyone who’s been jumping in and helping move things forward. Here are some updates about what has been happening and what's ahead:

Work Day This Saturday, April 11th | 9am–1pm
Here are some of the projects we’ll be tackling (and more!):
  • Weeding beds
  • Mulching
  • Beginning landscaping around the house
  • Removing the bottom shelf in each kitchen cabinet (these were impacted by moisture and need to come out)
  • Final prep of radiator covers before they head to the paint shop
  • Removing tile flooring in the sound room (we’re hoping to reuse these tiles to replace broken ones in the sanctuary)
Whether you can stay the whole time or just come for part of the morning, your help really does make a difference—there’s something for everyone to jump into!

A quick reminder for families: We love having kids serve alongside us on workdays! At the same time, both interiors are considered active construction areas, so for everyone’s safety, children should not be left unattended indoors at any time. Thank you for helping us keep things safe.

Additional Work Day:
April 25th | 9am–1pm

What’s Been Happening
Here’s a snapshot of what’s been happening throughout the building:
  • Delran is nearly finished with drywall installation. Next up is taping, followed by paint. (Don't worry, the purple you see is the color of the drywall, not paint!)
  • The bathroom floor areas that were opened to install new waste lines have now been fully sealed up.
  • Our painting team has been doing an incredible job—areas that are ready have been primed and already have two coats of finish paint. They’re currently working on trim and will move into the new bathroom area next week to prime and finish the new drywall.
  • Huseyn generously sent his crew over with a beautiful new quartz countertop and undermount sink for the communion prep room—such a gift to our Bridge family (picture above).
Prayer
As we continue moving forward, we invite you to be praying with us—for steady progress in the weeks ahead, for safety over all the work being done, and for continued provision through each step of the process.

We’re especially thankful for the many hands contributing to this work and pray that this building would ultimately be a place where many come to know and experience the love of Christ.

With gratitude,
Bridge Community Church
