Bedside Manner started as a passion project after I finished The Wild Card. I wanted to play around creatively and I wanted to write something NO ONE knew about. I gave myself a month to play, and at the end of the month, I didn’t want to stop. I wanted to finish the book!! I loved stern, grumpy Grant, and sparkling, vulnerable Linden. 

 

This book is my love letter to yearning heroes, Grey's Anatomy and The Pitt, misunderstood jerks, and summertime. 

 

Also, transactional spice. 😇😈

 

Vancouver Storm second generation will come. You know me well enough by now to know I have all the couples planned out, even if you haven’t seen the FMCs on page (you’ve seen all the MMCs) but I also want to think about how this series is going to be different than the first series! And for that, I need a bit of time. There will be at least one more standalone in the series after Bedside Manner.

 

Alright friends, I'm off to NY tomorrow for an event in Syracuse with Lit Actually (details here) and Bookcon! I'm so excited and can't wait to share pictures and stories when I get back!!

I cannot shut up about The Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas. Easily the best book I read in 2025, this little gem reminded me why I love historical romance. A poor but conniving FMC, a charming but arrogant MMC who's unwillingly obsessed with her, and one of my favorite tropes: marriage of convenience. I've already read it twice and am trying to give it more time before I read it again!!

I read an early copy of Allie Oleaner's Prey for Me - SO GOOD!!! I shrieked to her about what a slam dunk it was and I think I scared her. This MMC is OBSESSED with the FMC since the prior book, Willing Prey. So delicious and fun!! Available to request on Netgalley.
