My front garden is filled with Hostas from my mom’s yard in upstate New York. Every time I visited her, she would yell to me as I left, “Take some of my Hostas!”

 

After she passed, I knew I had to take some. I transplanted them around our Copper Beech tree, then added a bench and a little stone path. We hung a small plaque with her initials. Lastly, a pedestal with an antique gazing ball on top made the perfect finishing touch. It adds dimension and a reflective twinkle that draws you to the garden. We now call the space Helen's Garden.
