Mountains symbolized a holy place where one could connect and talk with God.

Preparing spiritually through deliberate, holy rituals allows us to meet God in meaningful ways. 

Mount Sinai represents a critical moment when Israel transitioned from a liberated people to a covenant community.  

Reference—Exodus 19:5-6 Israel called as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

My Sabbaths ye shall keep…that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. 

Consider boundaries God has placed in your life. How do these boundaries reflect His love and protection?

Choose your calf: Intentionally remove or limit something this week that distracts you from genuine worship  Replace it with focused prayer, scripture study, or acts of service to reinforce your commitment to God.

We don’t want you to just understand the Old Testament stories, we hope by the end of this year you will fall in love with them. This Old Testament timeline will help, and it will simplify your study of the Old Testament this year.
