At Circle Day in September 2025, Squarespace announced Squarespace for Pros tools and the moment I saw that presentation, I knew exactly what I wanted to make a mini-course on.

 

If you've been on my newsletter for a while, you know I've mentioned this mini-course before and even created a waitlist. And if you signed up for that waitlist... you also know I've done absolutely nothing with it. 😅 But that's about to change!

 

So why the delay? A couple of reasons:

 

First, I wanted to wait for Squarespace to get their ducks in a row. Squarespace notoriously updates and changes things, and I didn't want to create content around tools that were still in beta. I wanted to wait until features were fully released to everyone, and Squarespace has taken a little longer than expected on that front.

 

Second, and this is the classic solopreneur excuse, client work took over. I usually have a quieter January and February where I planned to focus on this, but that didn't happen this year. Life got busy!

 

The good news: last week I finalized the structure of the mini-course, and Squarespace has been doing a lot of releases this month. Stacks is still coming, but I'll most likely release the course before it does and if you purchase, you'll still get that content when it's ready.

 

 

If you join the waitlist, you'll get your own separate emails about the mini-course. I won't be talking about it much here in the main newsletter. Waitlisters will also get a better price, and I'll be sending some bonus content on Squarespace for Pros features that aren't necessarily in the course itself, like saved sections and saved pages, that are still worth knowing about.

 

The mini-course will focus on how to use the new tools: Stacks, Transforms, and Animations. 🎉

Today I wanted to share an old blog post where I talk about my thoughts on Standout Squarespace because Rache is running a spring promotion right now: $500 off if you purchase by this Friday!

I've done a lot of courses over the years, but Standout Squarespace has been the most beneficial one for me by far. It's also the only course I continue to pay a yearly fee for, especially because of the community and the new code snippets Rache shares are genuinely useful in my day-to-day work.

 

On top of that, Rache has been putting out some amazing resources lately, including an AI tool and her upcoming Vibe Code Bootcamp (running May–June), which I am so excited about!!

Additional Info section: Is now a section on the product's details page (PDP) on 7.1 websites. Very exciting news because it’s now so much easier to edit and it follows standard page rules so it’s easier to keep consistent with other page sections. Existing Additional Info will migrate and become a page section that uses the classic editor.

 

Email Campaigns: You can now sign up for Email Campaigns without a website plan. If you sign up without a website, you can also access the Forms panel to capture new subscribers and create sign-up forms.

 

Show and hide name fields on form block: You can now independently edit the form block’s First Name and Last Name fields.

 

Mini Cart portable shopping cart: it shows visitors what’s in their cart on any page, so they don’t have to leave the page they’re on. Squarespace is adding a lot of new features to the Store, like adding in this mini cart feature and making the additional info section easier to edit. Once everything’s been released I’ll do a blog post on all of the new updates!
