Hi First name / Slothy!

If you're in a season where the wins feel few and far between, this one's for you.

My husband and I have been having a year, which I haven’t shied away from sharing with you all.  Month after month, a new setback or challenge has shown up. And while I am a firm believer that what you focus on expands, I'll admit some days it has been really hard to find the glimmers (those small moments of grace and proof that things are actually okay).

Some days, they just don't want to be found. But other days? They pop up like a neon sign on a dark highway.

I had one of those neon sign moments recently when we took an impromptu trip to Pinstripes for a bowling night. We love to bowl. Well, some of us are better at it than others (*cough* I am not one of those people). This particular night was probably one of my worst games on record. For the life of me, I could not hit a single pin. You know that feeling when you're putting in real effort and it seems like everyone around you is getting it right except you? That was me, lane five, gutter ball after gutter ball.

But I was determined not to let it ruin the night. So I kept showing up, kept trying, kept going.

And then, finally... a strike.

Here's the part that stopped me cold: the people in the lanes next to us celebrated with me. An entire girl gang of preteens descended with high fives and so much praise that I think I'm actually still full up from it. These girls did not know me. They owed me nothing. And yet there they were, cheering like I had just done something remarkable.

That's the thing about putting in the effort and not giving up. You don't always know who is watching and silently cheering you on.

So many conversations are happening behind the scenes in your favor right now. So many things are closer to fruition than they appear. The clients who are thinking about reaching out. The opportunities quietly aligning. The seeds you planted months ago that are closer to blooming than you think. Just because it hasn't panned out yet doesn't mean it won't.

So if you're feeling defeated in whatever you're working toward (a business goal, a personal reset, a project that's taking way longer than it should), hear me: it is not over until you say it is. Every ounce of effort you're putting in is accumulating into something real.

Success is built in consistent, sustainable steps, not one dramatic moment.

Keep chipping away at the decluttering.
Keep showing up for your audience.
Keep seeking out ways to streamline your projects.

The relief you're looking for is on the other side of those efforts. Good things take time. And most of that time isn’t going to be super pleasant.

I read a quote this week that has not left my mind since:

"Humans are not built to be in a constant happy state. We are built to respond to the challenges of survival."

And as a self-described responsive yapper, I intend to keep right on responding. If you are too, hit reply and let me know. I'd love to hear what you're working through.

XOXO,
Renee
What’s New
“Under the Canopy”
If you've ever opened Asana and thought "wait, do I need a project or a portfolio for this?" you are not alone. It is one of the most common questions that comes up in every single build I do, and for good reason. The difference isn't obvious until someone breaks it down.

So I did.

No jargon, no hunting through documentation, just a clear explanation from someone who builds these systems every day. If your Asana setup feels more chaotic than clarifying, start here.

LIFE AT SAVVY SLOTH & HOW TO WORK WITH ME

Here's a scenario I hear often when chatting with our cohort of ambitious women:

What we have:
We know what needs to happen.
We've got the strategy, the ideas, maybe even the content plan.

What we don't have is:
The bandwidth to actually execute it all.

So it sits. And sits. And the gap between where we are and where we want to be continues to grow.

That's exactly why I launched Savvy Support packages.

These are ongoing monthly retainers for those ready to stop being the bottleneck in their own business and dreams. Less thinking, more doing. Less coordinating, more completing. You pick the track (marketing or project management), you pick the level of support, and then you hand things off and actually get relief.

I have an opening for one Savvy Assistant and one Savvy Creator starting in June. If that timing feels right for you, reply to this email and let's talk. You've done the hard work of building the vision.

Let someone ( cough* Me) help you bring it to life.
What I’m Loving
(That You Might Too)
A few things bringing me clarity, ease, and sustainable success this week:
What's bringing you clarity, ease, and sustainable success? Let me know here, and I'll check it out and may even feature it in a future Vine!

Stay Savvy, Slothies!
Renee T
P.S. Thanks for being here and reading all the way to the end — you're the best kind of Slothy!
