👋🏼 Hey, it’s Miriam. Welcome to my bi-weekly newsletter where we help you grow your pipeline, keep your clients, and crush your goals. Let’s get started. |
|
If You Do One Thing This Week: |
|
1. Start building next year's pipeline now. Strong relationships take time, so don’t wait until you need them. This week, identify 5–10 key referral partners (e.g., feeder organizations, partners, or influencers in your space) and reach out to schedule short, informal conversations. Your goal isn’t to sell, it’s to understand: - What are they seeing in next year’s cohort or customer base?
- What do their clients need most right now?
Use these insights over the summer to refine your messaging and create a clear plan for converting those future prospects into committed customers. |
|
2. Get your team aligned before summer. Don't wait. Now is the ideal moment to bring your key teams together (marketing, sales/admissions, and customer success) for a focused planning session. This week, put a date on the calendar and outline a simple agenda: - What worked this past year?
- Where did we lose potential customers?
- What are our top 3 priorities for the next cycle?
Leave the session with clear ownership of goals and next steps so everyone is rowing in the same direction heading into summer. |
|
3. Consistent, thoughtful communication builds trust and drives decisions. Most businesses underestimate how much followup is actually needed. If you’re worried about “over communicating”, don't be. You’re probably not communicating enough. This week, map out a simple, 4–6 touchpoint plan for your current and prospective customers (emails, calls, content, events). Each touch should do one of two things: - Reinforce the value you provide
- Remind them why they chose, or should choose, you
Remember, on every call a sale is made. Either you are selling them on your product, or they are selling you on why not. Be persistent, and be clear on what genuine value you offer. Don't let things fizzle out. Keep the energy going. |

Worth a look How the Experts See It |

If your writing isn’t getting read, it might not be your ideas, it’s your structure. This article shows how “signposting” makes complex thinking feel clear, skimmable, and actionable. |

If this newsletter resonates with you, here are three more ways I can help: - Follow me on LinkedIn or Instagram for bite-sized tips throughout the week (free).
- Work with me for 1:1 executive coaching or growth strategy consulting. Hit reply and I’ll send you a few questions to see if we’re a fit.
- Book me as a retreat facilitator or speaker. I'm looking at Summer and Fall retreats now. I just booked my third retreat for the Fall. This is the perfect time to reset. Reply to this email and we’ll take it from there.
I’m a teacher at heart, and love helping people get better at what they do. Let's get started, |
