Issue #10?! How did that happen?! I feel like I've only been doing this a few weeks. Time flies when you're getting old.
 
Speaking of, why did nobody tell me everything was going to hurt so much after I turned 50?? I feel as equally unprepared for this stage of my life as I was for motherhood (well, the baby part anyway - YEEESH I had no idea what true sleep depravation was going to be like!). 
 
How was everybody's Easter?? If anybody dyed any particularly beautiful Easter eggs, I sure would love it if you'd send me some pictures! My daddy always did the Easter egg dying with my kids and since he passed away (and they all grew up) I haven't laid my eyes on pretty Easter eggs in years. I'd sure love to see yours and your littles making them!
 
Since it's been a couple weeks, I can't remember when exactly we ate what, but I'll share some of the things I've made!
 
 
 
 
 
MOM'S WEEKEND
TRI DELTA AT WOFFORD COLLEGE
I spent the whole weekend with Baby Girl (just us!) for Mom's Weekend and we had a the BEST time! No keg-stands were done but I did drink cheap beer from a can and watch a live band (who was playing music from the 90's so it was almost the same).
 
 
 
 
 
I get to see my first ever grand-nephew today! My nephew and his wife and son are in SC for the week and are coming by for supper later! Lord, there hasn't been a baby in this house in FOREVER and I can't wait to smell his neck! I'm curious what Mister Boozer is going to have to say about all this. I don't think Hims has ever seen a baby up close!
 
Y'all, I was serious about the Easter Egg pictures! My babies are too big (or away at school) and I MISS seeing the gorgeous colors off all the eggs! Someday I'll have grandbabies and can take up Daddy's roll as Chief Easter Egg Dyer but until then, I'd be so happy to see yours!
