Master Your Workflow with Tags!

Tags are a powerful way to organize your data, allowing you to filter and group information in reports exactly how you need it. By using tags, you can move your "sticky note" lists directly into the software for a cleaner, more efficient workspace.

Currently, we offer three types of tags: Account, Case, and Procedure.
1. Account Tags

Use these to group specific clients together for targeted sales tracking.
How to set them up:
  • Navigate to Settings | Accounts.

  • To the right of the "Add" button, click the drop-down arrow and select Assign Account Tags.

  • In the pop-up, use the drop-down to select an existing tag or choose New Tag to create one.

  • Check the boxes for the accounts you want to include. Remember, an account can have multiple tags!

Pro Tip: Once assigned, you can use the Account Tags filter in any Sales Report to view data only for that specific group.

2. Case Tags

These are perfect for tracking temporary statuses like Rush Cases, New Doctors, or cases that require a Doctor Call.
How to use them:
  • While inside a specific case, look for the Tags section and click the Edit (pencil) icon.

  • Type to create a new tag or select an existing one (e.g., "rush").

  • To see all active tagged cases, go to Reports | Tagged Cases, select your tag, and click Run.

Important: To keep your reports accurate, remove the tag once the task is complete (e.g., after the rush case ships).

Shortcut: Hold CTRL and click multiple case numbers in a report to open them all in new browser tabs for quick updating.

3. Procedure Tags

Procedure tags are primarily used to refine your Sales Rep Reports.
How to set them up:
  • Assign the Sales Rep: Go to Settings | Accounts, edit an account, and under the Preferences tab, select the General Sales Rep.

  • Tag the Procedure: Go to Settings | Case Settings | Procedures | Lab Procedures.

  • Edit a procedure and scroll to the bottom to add a Procedure Tag (e.g., "unit").
The Result:
When running a Sales Rep report, you can filter by these tags. Instead of seeing every single item sold, the report will narrow down to only the procedures with that tag, making commission or volume tracking much simpler.
