You showed up when this was just a vision, a faith move, as I was stumbling around like a toddler learning to walk. You stayed through the building. You had a front row seat to my humanity and you stayed. Some of you have been here for six years…wow! You are not just my community. You are the reason I kept going when the work got heavy.

 

And if you’re new here — welcome. You didn’t land here by accident. Something in you recognized something in this space, and I don’t take that lightly.

 

I want to tell you why I chose to connect this way.

 

There is so much noise out there. Emails that feel like transactions. Newsletters that feel like obligations. I didn’t want to add to that. What I wanted — what I’ve always wanted — was a way to reach you that felt like sitting across from each other. Like a real conversation. Like a letter from someone who genuinely sees you.

 

So that’s what this is going to be.

 

Every letter I send you will be written with intention. You’ll find Haven Moments — monthly wellness practices designed to meet you exactly where you are. You’ll hear about what’s being built in community. You’ll be the first to know about retreats, resources, and spaces being created specifically for people like you — the strong ones, the ones who hold everything together, the ones who were never really asked how they were doing.

 

You have probably heard me say it — this work is my calling and you are part of the tribe to whom I have been assigned. I don’t say that lightly and I can’t say it enough. This is an offer to extend our connection and continue to build the community we’ve needed and wanted. I’m glad you’re here. I’m so excited to be doing this together.
