Welcome back to Beyond the Tour, where twice a month you’ll get clear, practical enrollment strategies you can put to work this week. Let's get started. |
If You Do One Thing This Week: |
1. 🎭 Meet them where they are. Turn your school events into targeted recruitment opportunities. For example, share tickets for your school show with a nearby dance studio and promote a “studio code” discount. Or offer a block of complimentary tickets! You know these kids are already interested in this activity. Show them how they can do what they love… at your school. Try it. Let me know how it goes. Thanks to Larron Y for recommending this tip! |
2. 💬 Keep calm. Keep reruiting. 3rd quarter is wrapping up. There are a lot of families looking for something new for next year, becuase whatever they're doing now is not working. Launch messaging around checking out another option for next fall. Don't be too proud to recruit students who are not successful in their current program. You are giving them the best gift to find the right place for them to soar. |
3. 🗓️ Did someone say Fall 2027? It's time to start connecting with principals and outplacement directors at feeder schools to talk about their upcoming graduating class. Yes, we're planting seeds for Fall 2027's incoming class. Here's how to get started: 1️⃣ Make a list of 5 feeder institutions (either ones who are currently sending you students, or ones you'd like to build a relationship with); 2️⃣ Send them an email or call them to set up a time during Spring or Summer to meet up for coffee; 3️⃣ Ask them about their rising graduating class: What is important to them? Who might be a good fit? Who would not be? Who should you stretch for? 4️⃣ Show them how your school is the best next step for their students; 5️⃣ Keep in touch. Love on them all year next year. You got this. Start the conversation now so that you have a partner on the inside. When it's decision time next year, you'll be happy that your school is top of mind for them. |

Admissions are the heartbeat of every school, shaping a family’s first and lasting impression. When your process needs clarity, consistency, and care, Enquiry Tracker delivers. Enquiry Tracker is a purpose built admissions and enrollment platform designed for K to 12 schools in the United States. From first inquiry to confirmed enrollment, it brings inquiries, tours, applications, events, and enrollments into one centralized system, replacing spreadsheets and disconnected tools. With online forms, event registration, personalized communications, pipeline tracking, and real time reporting, your team can see where every family stands and respond with clarity and confidence. The result is a smoother process, stronger relationships, and sustainable enrollment growth. |
