Frequently Asked Questions –
How much changed from the original edition?
The story is basically identical. Every major beat is in the same place it was. However, the text has been edited for flow, grammar, and continuity. While the same things happen in the same order, how they happen has been improved. The changes, while minimal, I think add up to an even better reading experience on the whole.
What features do the new North American paperbacks have?
The new edition has shiny spot UV on the cover, making the flower elements and text pop. The original cover art is printed inside the new cover in full color and without text, so you can really appreciate the artwork. I loved that the publisher was open to this little homage to the original edition!
I did a tour of the new edition over on my TikTok – it also shows the size difference from the original edition, if you want to watch it you can do so
HERE.
What's the "bonus scene" that's been added?
It's the same bonus scene that's been on my website, just edited. So while it's not brand new, it is polished and in print for the first time ever.
Does the eBook have the bonus scene and revised content, too?
Yes. The eBook has been updated as well. If you previously purchased it, you should be able to automatically download the new edition if you have automatic file updates enabled on your eReader.
Will there be a hardcover edition?
As of right now, the rerelease is only in paperback. If the paperback does well enough, the publisher might elect to do a fancy hardcover in the future, but that will depend entirely on sales and reader enthusiasm.
When will the other Married to Magic books get their new paperbacks?
A Dance with the Fae Prince is next, releasing June 9th. You can preorder it
HERE right now – preorders help authors more than you know, so if you're able I'd really appreciate it! The other books will follow throughout 2026 and into early 2027.
Will the UK/European editions be updated with the new content and covers as well?
Nothing has been officially announced, but there's a good chance this will happen.
