Your Property Perspective
Welcome to the latest edition of Your Property Perspective.

Hello friends.

Well, we are one third the way through 2026!!  Can you believe it??!  And at present, there’s no shortage of reasons to feel uncertain.  Volatile markets, interest rate speculation, an upcoming federal budget, and the unsettling conflict in Iran have many Australians choosing to sit on their hands when it comes to property decisions.

But here’s what decades in this industry have taught us: hesitation doesn’t have to mean inaction.

We’ve seen this before many times. Economic turbulence, political uncertainty, rate cycles that feel endless.  These are not new phenomena.  They are simply part of the cycle.  And without exception, conditions improve, confidence returns, and property prices rise.  They always do.

The people who come out ahead aren’t those who time the market perfectly, they’re the ones who use quieter moments to educate themselves and prepare.

That’s why now is the ideal time to connect with the qualified, licensed team of professionals at Your Property People.  Whether you’re a first-time or experienced investor, our team can help you understand your position and plan so that you’re ready to move when the market does.

Don’t let uncertainty become inertia. Reach out.  The conversation is free, but the knowledge is invaluable.
yours in property,
Craig Casey
Case Study: From Uncertainty to Confidence in Property Investment
— Joel, Central Coast NSW
“ We were worried about who to   trust, where the best locations were, and whether we could even afford to make the right move.”
Before working with Your Property People, Joel and his wife had some experience with property, but like many aspiring investors, they lacked the confidence to take the next step. Questions around who to trust, where to invest, and whether they could afford the right opportunity were holding them back.

That changed after connecting with Phil and the YPP team.

Joel shared how the process quickly became clearer and easier to understand, with guidance tailored around their goals and circumstances. From explaining the investment process step-by-step to introducing locations they had never previously considered, the support gave them the confidence to move forward with clarity.

What stood out most was the genuine and honest approach from the team. Joel described Phil as responsive, knowledgeable, and focused on helping them make the right decisions — not simply selling a property.

For Joel and his wife, having someone they trusted to guide them through the journey made all the difference.

Australia’s household wealth continued to rise in late 2025, with residential property emerging as the biggest driver of growth. New figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics show household wealth increased by 2.5% in the December quarter, largely fuelled by rising property values across the country.

Strong growth in Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia, combined with increasing lending activity from buyers and investors, signals renewed confidence in the Australian property market. Government support schemes and growing demand are also helping to drive momentum.

The data reinforces the long-term role property plays in building wealth, particularly for buyers already positioned in the market. For investors, the focus is shifting towards affordable, high-growth areas with strong infrastructure, employment opportunities and rental demand.
