Oreland Weekly Building Update ⛪

Hi Bridge Family!

Take a moment to read through the updates from this past week—and can we just say WOW--this progress is no joke! So many people have been working incredibly hard to make it happen and it truly shows:

What’s Been Happening

The stage is nearly complete. The steps are finished, carpet has been installed, and final touches are underway.
The bathrooms have been painted by our painting team.
The flooring company has installed all tile on the bathroom floors and continues work on the subway tile walls.
The fellowship hall ceiling has been painted “Iron Ore” and is now complete.
The painting team has primed and applied the first finish coat on the fellowship hall walls.
Loren has been hard at work restoring our kitchen cabinets over the past couple of weeks. After discovering some water damage, Loren reinforced the cabinet bases, thoroughly cleaned them, and helped prep them for a fresh start. The interiors have now been primed and finished with trim paint. The cabinets are stable, clean, and ready—and our Hospitality Team has already begun planning how they’ll be used. Many jumped in to help along the way, but Loren really carried this project forward.

Looking Ahead

Saturday Work Day (May 2nd | 9am–1pm)

The landscaping work we had planned will be tackled this Saturday, and we’d love for you to join us:

Topsoil delivery and grading where the sidewalk was removed
Spreading mulch in the garden beds around the sanctuary
Continuing cleanup of yard debris from tree removal and house work
Trimming bushes around the sanctuary to allow more natural light into the fellowship hall

Sunday Update

Join us this Sunday, May 3rd @ 9:30am, for a pancake breakfast fundraiser for our Philly Mission trip, where we’ll also share a staff and building update on where things stand across the board. And just a reminder that worship with start this Sunday at 11am. We hope to see you there!
