Agent closes a deal. 🎉
Buyer is happy. Seller is happy. Everyone’s celebrating.

Agent reaches out to admin:

     👉 “Hey, when can I pick up my commission check?”

Admin reviews the file…

         Missing documents.
         Incomplete paperwork.
         Things still need signatures.

Agent gets frustrated:

👉 “But the deal CLOSED… why can’t I get paid?”

Let’s clear this up…

We do not release commission until the file is complete.

Not “mostly complete.”
Not “I’ll get it later.”
Not “it already closed.”

 

👉 Complete.

 

This isn’t a Carolina Elite rule…
This is a South Carolina Real Estate Commission / LLR compliance requirement.

If we pay out commission without a complete file:

And that falls on the brokerage.

Simple rule:

👉 If you want to get paid fast… your file needs to be clean.

When files aren’t complete:

And now everyone’s frustrated.

Treat your file like it’s being audited tomorrow.

Because one day… it might be.

Clean files = fast checks 💰
Messy files = delays

 

The closing doesn’t trigger your paycheck…

                     👉 Your completed file does.
