I've been sharing and writing a lot lately about growth and change. About the feeling of standing at a threshold and knowing that what comes next is going to look different from what came before. Or perhaps not so different. I've been living that in my own life but if you've been reading my emails, you already know that. What I haven't told you yet is that some of what's coming next includes you.
Guess who's back, back again….🎶 If you don't know this reference, we can't be friends any longer. I mean, we can but it won't be the same. Okay, okay, I'll still love you regardless. But I digress.
Did you know that my one-on-one work is what started my entire leadership career after I left the fashion industry? It feels like a lifetime ago considering all that's come since. But long before I wrote the books, spoke on the stages, built the programs and founded the communities, I sat across from hundreds of women all over the world doing the work I love most: strategic thinking, guidance, mentorship, wisdom work. All of it. Those conversations were the seed of everything I eventually built.
In late 2019, I made the decision to wind that work down. It wasn't because I wanted to, but because everything else I was building simply didn't leave room for it anymore. I don't regret it. But I've missed it, and enough people have reached out recently asking for my support that I took it as a sign. You know me well enough to know that
I'm not someone who ignores signs.
So. One-On-One Strategic Sessions are finally back.
I have my own people who guide me personally and professionally and I credit much of my success to working with them. Without question. I think strategic mentorship is one of the most powerful investments anyone can make in themselves. I've always believed that shifts in perspective create the most profound changes over time and after 20 years of doing this work in various forms, I know that what most of us aren't lacking is ideas or motivation. What we're lacking is someone who can see us clearly and say "here's what I see and here's what I recommend you do about it."
A delightful former client put it this way: "Cyndie is truly my secret weapon. She's both gentle and fierce, calling me on my shit when it's needed and offering me confidence when I get lost. She sees the best in me and she quickly gets me to see it too."
"I went from having an idea, to launching a business, to growing a business, to strategizing shifts and expansions, all while laughing." (This is a true story and though I don't promise this outcome, I'm still very proud-cited for her.)
"Within three weeks, I walked into a negotiation with a confidence I hadn't had before and came out with a much higher rate."
One session or three months together. If any of this feels like a sigh of relief, I hope you'll let me guide you. As of today,
you can book with me directly. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to have an hour or so with me, now is your chance to find out.
As always, if you have questions, feel free to reply to this email.
With gratitude and microjoys,
xCyndie
p.s. And one more…why not ?!
