Dear First name / Friend,
Recently, I returned home from the Workhuman Live conference – my favorite event of the year.
From connecting with new and old friends, to learning from incredible speakers, it completely filled my cup.
I got to shake the hand of Amy Edmondson (one of my favorite researchers) and hear from Angela Duckworth, Tasha Eurich, and Michelle Obama (no big deal).
If there is one message I took with me from this year's conference, it was this:
People need to feel more human at work. They need to feel valued, respected, appreciated, and like they truly matter.
And the way we ensure this happens is by investing in human-centered leadership to create workplaces where people want to stay.
Next month, The Thirlby Co. is launching something big to help leaders do exactly that. I can't wait to share it with you.
