There’s nothing quite like High Point Market week — and this year was one for the books.
Last month, our team packed our bags and headed to North Carolina, ready to wander, discover, and hunt down the next layer of beauty for our clients’ homes. Imagine kids turned loose in the world’s most stylish candy shop… that’s pretty much us walking mile after mile through endless showrooms, looking through beautiful upholstered furniture, high-quality crafted goods, testing fabrics, opening drawers, and falling in love with craftsmanship all over again.
We spent our days chasing the unexpected — sculptural lighting, comfortable seating and the perfect woods and stains. Somewhere between coffee-fueled mornings and late-night dinners recapping the day’s finds, inspiration was everywhere. As Iris Apfel once said, “More is more and less is a bore,” and High Point always reminds us to keep searching for those unforgettable pieces that bring personality and warmth into a space.
The best part? Bringing all of that excitement back home to RTD and weaving it into the projects we’re dreaming up for our clients. Every trip leaves us creatively recharged, overflowing with ideas, and even more passionate about what we do. Or as they say, “Collect things you love, and your house becomes your story.”
