We wanted to send out a few additional clarifications regarding the new CERE Transaction Fee so everyone is on the same page moving forward.

When completing listing agreements and buyer agreements, you’ll notice the “Administrative Fee” section is already added into the Dotloop templates by default. This section is where the CERE Transaction Fee is reflected within the SCR forms.

We also want to clarify timing, because there has been some confusion. The transaction fee ONLY applies to agreements written on or after May 1. If a contract was ratified prior to May 1, the fee does not apply, even if the transaction closes after May 1.

If you are personally choosing to absorb the fee instead of passing it along to your client, you may simply remove the fee from the section while completing the documents in Dotloop before sending them out for signatures.
