If You Do One Thing This Week: |
|
 1. Build a clear summer availability map so you’re never blocked.  Decisions slow down when you don’t know who’s available.  This week, create a simple shared calendar (Google Sheet or team calendar) that shows when key team members are in and out of the office. Focus especially on people who hold critical information or approvals.  Then, use it immediately: schedule your most important meetings during overlap windows when the right people are available.  This small step removes bottlenecks and keeps momentum high during a typically fragmented season.  |
|
2. Remove friction from your first point of contact.  Your inquiry or lead form is often your first impression, and every extra field reduces conversions.  This week, review your form with one goal: Make it as easy as possible to get started.  Ask yourself: - What information do we absolutely need upfront?
- What can we collect later in the relationship?
Cut anything non-essential. Then test it yourself (and ask a friend to try). A shorter, cleaner form will increase the number of people who raise their hand, and give you more opportunities to build relationships. Â |
|
3. Bring your frontline team into the process—then act on what you hear.  The people closest to your customers often have the clearest insight into what’s missing. This week, schedule 2–3 short conversations with team members who interact directly with clients (teachers, sales reps, support staff, etc.). Ask them: - What do you wish we knew earlier about our customers?
- What questions are we not asking—but should be?
- Where are we missing context that would help us serve better?
Look for patterns in their answers, and commit to making at least one concrete improvement based on their feedback. When your process reflects real-world insight, you attract better-fit customers and serve them more effectively. Â |

Worth a look How the Experts See It |

This quick story shows how one tiny, thoughtful touch can turn an ordinary, forgettable experience into something people actually look forward to, and go out of their way for. It’s a simple idea with big implications for anyone trying to stand out.  |

If this newsletter resonates with you, here are three more ways I can help: - Follow me on LinkedIn or Instagram for bite-sized tips throughout the week (free).
- Work with me for 1:1 executive coaching or growth strategy consulting. Hit reply and I’ll send you a few questions to see if we’re a fit.
- Book me as a retreat facilitator or speaker. I'm looking at Summer and Fall retreats now. I just booked my third retreat for the Fall. This is the perfect time to reset. Reply to this email and we’ll take it from there.
I’m a teacher at heart, and love helping people get better at what they do.  Let's get started, |
