We're still on a high from the Best Bar None Awards, where Coventry’s bars, pubs and clubs celebrated achieving a leading industry standards accreditation, with Mister Shenanigans and Dhillon’s Brewery taking home the top honours.

More than 100 representatives from across the city’s hospitality sector attended the Best Bar None 2026 awards at Drapers Hall in the city centre.
 
A total of 16 venues were accredited on the night, including 147 Nightclub, Club Heat, City Arms, Dhillon’s Brewery, Elles, The Flying Standard, The Earl of Mercia, Mister Shenanigans, Slug & Lettuce, Turtle Bay, Phoenix, Boom Battle Bar, Las Iguanas, The Yard, Genting Casino and Putt Putt Social.

There were also special prizes, with Mister Shenanigans named City Centre Overall Winner and Dhillon’s Brewery taking home the title of Neighbourhood Overall Winner.

coventry cocktail week sign up
Following the continued success of Coventry Cocktail Week, we are pleased to inform you that the event will be returning for 2026, running from 4th to 13th September.
 
Coventry Cocktail Week is a 10-day city-wide cocktail festival celebrating the best of Coventry’s hospitality sector. Customers purchase a wristband to take part in the event, which then gives them access to exclusive offers across participating venues. This includes signature cocktails starting at £5, helping to increase footfall, drive sales, and showcase the fantastic bars, pubs, and restaurants across the city centre. Venues will also be required to offer at least one mocktail option as part of their menu.
 
We are now inviting venues to sign up and be part of this year’s event.
 
If you are a Coventry BID levy payer, participation is free of charge. If your venue is based outside the city centre and is not a BID levy payer, a sign-up fee of £250 + VAT will apply.
 
We would strongly encourage you to get involved and be part of what is set to be another exciting and successful year for the city’s hospitality sector.

We'd just like to remind you that Take That will be coming to Coventry CBS Arena this 4th - 6th June!
 
Over the course of their 3-night performance, an estimated 100,000 fans will be descending on the city to watch… which is likely to increase our footfall during this week.
 
With lots of excited fans in the city centre, we'd love to see any Take That themed activities and displays in our BID businesses.
