On Sunday 3rd May, Vodafone hosted a charity five-a-side football event which brought together colleagues, local businesses, sponsors, friends, and members of the wider community, all united to raise awareness and vital funds for an important cause.
Together, they successfully raised over £1,400 for Cancer Research UK through donations, sponsorships, fundraising activities, and community support.
What made the event particularly special was the incredible collaboration from local businesses and supporters across Coventry, alongside the stories shared by individuals whose lives have been impacted directly or indirectly by cancer. It created a fantastic atmosphere focused not just on fundraising, but also on community spirit, connection, and awareness.
Vodafone's aim is to continue building positive community engagement, inspire further fundraising initiatives, and hopefully growing it into an even larger annual event in the future.
