The end of the 2025-2026 school year is in sight, and our scholars are beginning to enjoy the results of their efforts.
This week, we held our annual Rhetoric School Academic Awards Ceremony, 8 scholar-athletes signed their letters of intent to play at the collegiate level, our True North Boys' Volleyball Team earned its first state championship in program history, the Class of 2026 celebrated the culmination of their senior year with the ringing of our school bell, and a group of our upper school scholars visited the Freedom Tower – a longstanding symbol of freedom and hope that sits in the heart of Downtown Miami

True North Bell Ceremony
Yesterday was the last day of high school for the Class of 2026.
During an emotional ceremony, our senior scholars walked together to the entrance of our school where, one by one, they rang our school’s brass bell to symbolize the conclusion of their final high school year. The ceremony was filled with both tears and joy from our scholars and faculty members as they closed this chapter in their lives.
Following the ceremony, our scholars spent their final moments as high school students in our Sunset Campus gym reflecting on their time as Titans. Together, they cried, laughed, hugged, sang the alma mater, and counted down the final seconds until the dismissal bell.
Scholars, as you enter this new chapter in your lives, always remember that you are a Titan. The lessons you learned at True North go far beyond the classroom, as they have helped shape you into who you are today — individuals grounded in virtue who seek truth, goodness, and beauty. Remember to stand firm on your beliefs, never waver in the face of adversity, and that you will always have a home at True North.
Rhetoric School Academic Awards
This week, we held our annual Rhetoric School Academic Awards Ceremony, where the accomplishments, character, and achievements of several of our Rhetoric School scholars were celebrated through a series of highly esteemed and coveted awards.
The awards are as follows:
Congratulations, scholars!
Freedom Tower Field Trip
A group of nearly 100 upper school scholars visited the Freedom Tower. For weeks, our scholars studied the Cold War in their American History classes, and visiting the Freedom Tower allowed them to experience and build a tangible connection to what they discussed in the classroom.
The visit included a guided tour of the freedom tower and "FIFA's Unidad – the World's Game" Museum, individual time for exploration, and a catered Chick-fil-A lunch with their fellow Titans.
This marks True North’s second official visit to the Freedom Tower. Last year, our scholars participated in the very first field trip held at the Freedom Tower following its reopening.
True North Boys' Volleyball:
2026 State Champions
Your True North Titans are the 2026 State Champions!
This historic season was defined by courage, discipline, and teamwork. Facing the highest strength of schedule in the state and being ranked #2 in Florida in our division, our boys’ volleyball team stayed committed and worked together towards a common goal. They stepped up for one another when it mattered most and, as a result, they earned the very first state championship title in program history.
Congratulations, scholars! #TitanStrong
True North Baseball:
2026 State Runner-ups
Our True North Titans baseball team are the state runner-ups!
Our True North Titans concluded their historic season with outstanding performances in the state semi-finals and state finals. In fact, they advanced to the final with a dominant 9-4 win against Berkeley Preparatory School.
Our baseball program is young, yet they have continuously displayed growth, grit, and determination and outplayed seasoned teams. The future for our Titans is bright!
Congratulations, scholars! What a historic season.
Signing Day
Eight of our athlete scholars signed to continue playing their sport at the collegiate level. This milestone was celebrated during a special signing ceremony where our scholars heard from their coaches, reflected on their their time as True North Titans, and signed their letters of intent in front of their family and friends. This year, 22 of our athlete scholars signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Among them, two scholars made True North history by becoming the first in our track and field program to sign and compete at the collegiate level.
Congratulations, athlete scholars! We cannot wait to see all that you accomplish next.
