In case you missed it…

Aloha First name / friend,

808 Cleanups was recently spotlighted on Hawaiʻi News Now during the HI Now Daily segment and in Honolulu Magazine as an exciting activity to do on Oʻahu.

Both of these features offer a closer look at our restoration work happening across the island and showcase ways to get involved with 808 Cleanups. We wanted to share with our volunteers since you make this work possible!

Hawaiʻi News Now

Executive Director, Michael Loftin, and Director of Community Outreach, Kimeona Kane, were hosted on HI Now Daily to chat about Native Hawaiian Plant Month and the restoration activities at our sites.

"I like that this volunteer assignment has a low barrier to entry: It’s only two hours, and supplies are provided. So now I know—next time I have a rough day at work, I can grab a pickax and do something productive. —Katrina Valcourt, Executive Editor at Honolulu Magazine

We are always excited when we can share the amazing work that our volunteers are doing. Mahalo for all you do and for being a part of our organization!

Mahalo Nui!
