Hello First name / friend,
Over the past few months, we've been working tirelessly to feed the need across Rhode Island. Support from donors and volunteers is fueling critical work that serves thousands of neighbors during an increasingly critical time as more than 100,000 of our neighbors struggle to meet their basic food needs.

So far this year, we've recorded more than 50 visits to the Hope Chests, we delivered more than 2,000 lbs of pantry staples to TSA agents during an unprecedented disruption, 250 Breakfast Kits were delivered to students ahead of school vacation last month, and we expanded our services to the East Bay.

We remain humbled and grateful for our growing community – and hope you will join us in the fight against food insecurity across Rhode Island. As Memorial Day weekend kicks off the unofficial start of Summer and you gather with those closest to you, we wish you Purpose & Love. We join you in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
with Purpose & Love,
Jenn & Jen  xoxo

Nourishing the East Bay with Rhody Roots!
Earlier this year, PWP made it “over the bridge” to begin our work in East Bay. With the help and generosity of the team at Rhody Roots, we've been able to deliver close to 200 kid-friendly meals to the head start students at Mary V. Quirk school through East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP).

In addition to prepared meals, we've also been supplying Breakfast Kits to help fill the gaps and we are excited to expand our reach to the East Bay community in the coming months.

Grab & Go: Meeting Neighbors Where They Are
Last month we introduced Grab & Go Kits to help close the gap between meals by offering practical, portable nutrition that meets people where they are. They’re a simple way to ensure every Rhode Islander has access to food that’s dependable, respectful, and ready when needed.

What’s Inside:
- Balanced, shelf‑stable foods that create a full meal
- Items chosen for taste, nutrition, and convenience
- Packaging designed to feel welcoming and dignified
This latest program was inspired by a grant from UNFI and will continue through the generosity and kindness of our donors. Donate a Breakfast Kit, One-Meal Kit, or a Family Tote.
