Abstract, realistic, soft and loose, detailed and controlled. Isn't it amazing that one medium can look so different and be used to create all of these paintings?

What I’ve really grown to love and appreciate about watercolor is its versatility! It wasn't until I discovered all the ways it can be used did I start to get curious and excited about it. I really wanted to share this experience of discovering watercolor and seeing how it can work for you! I'll be sending out powdered watercolors (which I think are so fun!) for June's Creative Spark Mail Club!

You'll receive samples of yellow and ultramarine which can be mixed to create many more shades of blues, greens, and turquoise. I'm also including a variety of papers and different tutorials/project ideas to try. If you're brand new to watercolor, this is a chance to get your feet wet and try it out! If you've dabbled here and there or have a lot of experience, I hope this will give you a chance to use it in a new or different way!
