Dear First name / friend,

Last week I happily announced the arrival of spring here in Newport…and today I’m here to tell you it feels more like winter again. I’m currently in a wool sweater and an insulated raincoat on Memorial Day weekend, which is just ridiculous—but I guess that’s life in New England.

 

Lousy weather aside, we’re still enjoying the long weekend, and I hope you are too. And while we take advantage of the downtime, and the official start of summer, let's also take time to express gratitude to all those in the military who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom—and may we never, ever take that for granted. 🇺🇸
