Dear First name / Friend,
I'll be honest with you. June was a lot.
Between three team trainings, a staff retreat, a keynote, the launch of our Five-Star Manager Assessment, and traveling to three states, I felt like I was treading water most days.
While I was grateful for it all, when July arrived, I said to myself:
“Margie, you cannot do that to yourself again.”
I believe that when we are doing the work we're meant to do, it doesn't feel like work. But I also believe that when our nervous system never gets a break from hustle mode, we can't fully enjoy our work.
And if we're not enjoying it, what's the point?
I don't know about you, but I want to be someone who consistently feels presence and joy in my everyday life.
I want a calendar that's intentional enough that I don't feel overwhelmed before the week begins.
I want to be someone who is comfortable saying:“Thank you, but my schedule is as full as I'd like it to be.”
As a business owner and working mom, I know these habits are easier said than done. But they're practices I'm committed to building (read more about this in my article below).
As you begin the second half of 2026, my question for you is this:
What is one small shift you could make that would allow you to enjoy the rest of the year a little more?
Reply to this email to let me know. I'd love to hear your perspective.
With gratitude,
