session four recap!

a peek inside week four!
Someone is joining from a moving car in Portugal. Someone is sweating through the hottest May ever recorded in London, dumping water on her cat, and still showed up. Someone just quit her job and bought an RV. Someone went into the woods in a fairy dress.

That's just how we check in now.

This last week was about integration. Not a final lesson. Not a tidy conclusion.

More like: the whole constellation clicking into place.

Here's what we kept bumping into: most of us have been treating creativity like a mood that visits us. Like, if the stars align and we've been productive enough and we've earned a break — maybe inspiration shows up.

But what if creativity isn't a random accident? What if your receptivity can actually be cultivated on purpose?

Because here's what's true: receptive states create different lives. Different thoughts. Different risks. Different conversations, ideas, businesses, relationships noticed.

"Your life is shaped not only by what you permit yourself to do — but by what you're capable of perceiving."

Most people accidentally wait for that state instead of learning how to return to it.

And there's a difference between optimizing yourself and navigating yourself. Optimization says there is one correct route. Remove inefficiency. Become machine-like. Eliminate deviation.

Navigation says: remain relational to life. Pay attention. Orient. Follow signal. One feels brittle. The other feels alive.

So the question isn't: how do I become a permanently inspired magical being 24-7?

The question is: can you stop treating your life like a machine to optimize — and start relating to it like a landscape to explore?

this week's follow-up!

Someone went into the woods in a fairy dress, touched grass, read about a Dungeons & Dragons goddess named Desna who throws stars into the sky as lanterns for others to follow — and called the whole thing "exposure therapy." (It worked.)

Someone quit her job, bought an RV on impulse, and is going to live in it. Mobile healing. Underprivileged communities. The whole thing. She did not plan this. The month just... kept going.

Someone spent the week being her own inner kid — strawberries, bike rides, picking flowers, reading under a tree with the light moving through the leaves. All of it just for her. All of it because she felt like it. She hadn't done that in a while.

Someone found a quirky gallery, walked in, talked to the owner, felt something inside him go yeah, that's the thing — and is now officially on the path to Billie Eilish.

Nobody expected any of this either.

a little window into our world 🎵
our cohort is creating a living playlist of songs that make us feel alive!  you're welcome to listen in <3

this weeks
brainplayground!

Each week, our cohort receives what I'm calling The Brain Playground — a collection of small, weird, (even slightly absurd) embodied exercises designed to do one thing:

help you notice what feels alive.

Not what makes sense. Not what looks good on a business plan. Not what you've seen other successful people do.

What feels alive — in your body, in your gut, in that tiny quiet signal you've been talking yourself out of following.

The exercises aren't about productivity. They're not about output. They're about loosening the grip just enough that something real can come through.

a glimpse inside the brain playground:

shake the snow globe!

shake the snow globe!

put on one song.
then:

shake. wiggle. bounce.
stretch weirdly. move badly.
let your body lead, like a snow globe being disrupted.

then notice:

what softened?
what shifted?
what feels different now?
your nervous system often knows how to move energy before your intellect does

cohort two is coming in august! :)
applications will open in july.

until then — go shake the snow globe.
