May 29, 2026 (Toronto, ON) — Following a breakout year, rising Canadian country artist Kelsi Mayne returns with her bold new single “Time Machine,” the latest preview of her forthcoming album Out Of The Blue due July 3rd. An unfiltered anthem about walking away and refusing to look back, the track leans into the sharp-witted storytelling that has become her trademark.  Described by Mayne as a “slap in the face tied up with a ribbon and a bow,” “Time Machine” captures her fearless approach to songwriting with equal parts bite and honesty.

The single takes a familiar post-breakup scenario and flips it on its head. After ending an engagement, Mayne found herself on the receiving end of repeated attempts to reconcile, each one prompting the same internal question: is there any version of this story where she would go back? The answer became the foundation of the song.

“‘Time Machine’ is the most unapologetic song I’ve ever written,” says Mayne. “I wanted the song to feel confident, sarcastic and a little ruthless in the best way. It’s about knowing your worth enough to leave the past where it belongs.”

The release follows a defining stretch for Mayne, including “For The Record” which has amassed over 800,000 streams and earned support from SiriusXM’s The Highway, alongside major DSP playlists. She continued that momentum with “Can’t Sleep,” a vulnerable follow-up that revealed a deeper layer to her storytelling and further cemented her reputation as an emotionally honest songwriter.

This summer, Mayne will take her music to audiences across North America with appearances at some of the nation's biggest stages and festivals. Following her debut performance at CMA Fest in Nashville, she will bring her high-energy live show across Canada with stops at the Calgary Stampede, Big Valley Jamboree and additional dates throughout the summer, celebrating the release of her sophomore album Out Of The Blue, arriving July 3.

Fans can catch the full story live at Mayne’s Album Release Party and Showcase on June 25th at The Rivoli in Toronto. Get your tickets HERE
