This nature-inspired dining room design was recently completed for some of our much loved long-time clients. A colorful flora-and-bird wallpaper echoes this couple's deep love of the outdoors, and (very subtly) includes the colors of their shared alma mater. A vibrant room filled with meaningful personal details, we were so excited to have it featured in this beautiful spread. Every year, Chapel Hill, Durham, and Chatham Magazine recognize outstanding women of the Triangle: the grassroots leaders who are working every day to improve our communities. These women are nominated by their peers and featured in the Annual Women's Issue of each magazine. 

This year's honorees included Carrboro Poet Laureate Amanda Bennett, as well as many other remarkable women. They are so incredibly inspiring, and it's such an honor to be part of their celebration and give back to this group of women who gives so much to others. You can see a recap of the event here!

If you've been following, you may have seen that our latest Certified Green custom home was chosen for this year's High Performance Home Tour! It took place nearly a year to the day since we broke ground on this wonderful client's dream home.

 

Coordinated by the Home Builders Association, the High Performance Home Tour highlights homes that utilize advanced building science, eco-friendly building materials and products, and include energy conserving features. It was a great weekend of giving tours, meeting families from all over the triangle, and celebrating this beautiful home coming to life for our client.
