PLACEMAKING 2026
Hi First name / friend

Welcome to Art of Club.

2026 is the year people remember they need other people.

We’re watching the pendulum swing back toward real spaces, real conversations, and experiences that actually mean something. But the spaces that resonate most won’t be the loudest — they’ll be the ones with a clear sense of self. The ones rooted in identity, community, and consistency over trend-chasing.

That’s what Art of Club is built around: helping brands, restaurants, hotels, residential properties, and cultural spaces uncover the why behind what they do — then building experiences people genuinely want to return to.

This newsletter is where we share what we're seeing across the Placemaking and Hospitality industries — the projects, people, places, and cultural signals shaping how people gather, how places build identity, and how hospitality creates cultural value.

Below you'll find a look at what we've been building, what we're watching, and how Art of Club is helping define the next chapter of cultural programming, community development, and hospitality-led placemaking.

If this resonates, pass it along to someone shaping the future of hospitality, culture, or place.

RECENT HIGHLIGHTS
Mother’s Day in the LA Fashion District

This Mother’s Day, Art of Club partnered with the LA Fashion District BID to create a soft, celebratory moment for mothers and families in the neighborhood.

Hosted at DAMA in City Market South, the activation brought together a custom bouquet-making station, sparkling wine, community portraits, and a relaxed environment for guests to connect, gather, and celebrate the women who shape their lives.

With florals by California Flower Mall, portraits by Dorado Denise and Dedo Studio, and community support from the LA Fashion District, the day reflected what we love most about placemaking: bringing local partners together to create a moment that feels generous, personal, and rooted in place.
For Cinco de Mayo, Art of Club brought residents of The Grand by Gehry together for an evening of food, drinks, and neighborhood connection.

Hosted within the residential community, the celebration featured a catered menu from local favorite Zingo’s Tacos, creating a relaxed gathering moment rooted in hospitality, culture, and shared experience.

With photography by Izzy Hasan, the activation reflected a core part of our work with residential spaces: building programming that helps residents feel more connected to where they live, while introducing them to the local businesses and cultural voices shaping the neighborhood around them.
