Every summer since 2020, The Hub OC has raised funds for the kids who need it most: children living below the poverty line, kids in the foster care system, and young people navigating circumstances no child should ever face alone.

 

Because of your generosity, we've been able to reach over 2,000 children across Orange County since we began, keeping them safe and supported not only in the summer but all year long through our before and after-school programs.

In May, we enjoyed more Fun Fridays! We've had yummy treats like cotton candy and a Silent Disco party!!!

 

Our Palmyra after-school staff went around in a Treat Trolley during Teacher Appreciation Week to give teachers a sweet treat! We love showering our teachers with all the love!

 

We honored 14 students from various OUSD elementary schools and Santiago Charter Middle School! Students were recognized in Academic Excellence or Citizenship. Not only did the Hub Youth Centers award the students, but they also received various awards from the City of Orange, the County Supervisors' Office, and the Orange Chamber of Commerce. We are so honored to recognize students who are making a difference in their schools!

On May 13th, the Hub Resource Center proudly hosted another successful Same Day Solutions Fair, bringing together over 250 individuals from across Orange County for a day focused on connection, support, and hope. Events like these are especially meaningful to the HRC because they allow individuals to access critical resources and services all in one place and on the same day, helping remove many of the barriers that can make navigating support systems overwhelming. 

 

Throughout the event, community members were able to connect directly with agencies and providers offering services such as DMV assistance, Social Services support, OC Clerk Recorder services, haircuts, and many other essential resources, in addition to the daily services already provided at the Hub Resource Center.

 

The Same Day Solutions Fair continues to highlight the power of collaboration and community partnership. By bringing multiple agencies and organizations together under one roof, we can create a more accessible and welcoming experience for individuals seeking support. We are incredibly grateful to all of the partners, volunteers, and staff who helped make this event possible and continue to show up for our community with compassion and dedication. Together, we are helping create pathways toward stability, connection, and long-term support for those who need it most.

We invite our community to help make an impact by volunteering at our next Same Day Solutions Fair on July 8th. Opportunities are available to help set up the day before the event, support operations during the fair, and assisting with teardown and site reset afterward. Events like these are only possible because of the incredible support from volunteers and community partners who are willing to give their time and energy to serve others. Whether you can help for a few hours or the entire day, your support makes a meaningful difference in creating a welcoming and organized experience for every attendee.

This Mother’s Day, we loved celebrating all the amazing moms in our community at Full Circle Marketplace with complimentary roses and a special 40% off coupon for a future visit. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made the day so special. We’re grateful to be part of your celebrations!

 

​Full Circle Marketplace was honored to provide Alexandria, a local high school student, with a prom gown and shoes for her special night. We’re grateful to play a small part in helping students feel confident and celebrated during such an important milestone.

Full Circle Marketplace kicked off Memorial Day with a special Flash Sale featuring 50% off clothing and shoes from 11 AM–1 PM. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shopped the sale, and spent part of the holiday weekend with us. We loved seeing the store full of energy and great finds!

Summer is almost here, and we are excited to host small groups for activities at the community center. If you are interested in teaching a class, workshop, or activity, we'd love to have you! 

We are looking for cooks, artists, bakers, crafters, gardeners, just FUN, creative people who want to be good role models for children in a community center space. We are also looking for volunteers to come and be extra help, hands, and support.
