Hello, First name / There,
❄️ Winter Newsletter – Agrista
This winter newsletter is packed with upcoming opportunities, but before we look ahead, we'd like to look back at what's been happening at Agrista.
🌾 Beyond the Noise: Agriculture with Purpose
At the end of last month, Agrista hosted a benchmarking event called Beyond the Noise: Agriculture with Purpose, a 2.5-day experience bringing like-minded operators together for learning, on-farm visits, and industry connection.
Participants heard from experienced guest speakers David Sackett, Bruce Allworth, and Richie Taylor, who generously shared their knowledge, perspectives, and lessons learned.
We visited three leading farming businesses and engaged in open discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture. Our farm hosts Andrew Hunter, Simon Matear, and Tynan Buckley provided honest insights into the opportunities, challenges, and decision-making involved in their operations.
A strong feature of the event was the quality of discussion and the willingness of participants to engage openly, challenge thinking, and share their own experiences. It created a genuine environment of learning and collaboration.
Thank you also to our dinner speakers Phil Towzell and Richard Post, coordinated by Tim King, for sharing insights from the finance world in New York and the lessons gained from those experiences.
Beyond the Noise reinforced the value of stepping away from the day-to-day, challenging our thinking, learning from others and building strong connections.
