Summer is hurtling towards us (can someone let the weather know…!?), which means our Independents AND Back to School campaigns will be launching at the start of July! 
 
These will feature across our website and socials, giving you an additional platform to gain exposure to our large audience of engaged locals.
 
And the good news? 
 
We'd love to see as many of our BID businesses involved as possible.

The Bank of England are designing the next series of banknotes, which will include updated security features to ensure you can continue to use cash with confidence – and they’d like your help.
  
After a public consultation last year, they announced in March 2026 that they will use nature, with a particular focus on wildlife, as the theme for the next series of banknote designs.
   
Working with a panel of wildlife experts from across the UK, they have produced a shortlist of animals, native to the UK, that could be used as the central image on the £5, £10, £20 and £50 notes. 
 
They are keen to hear the public's views, which will be an important consideration in making the final decision on the design.
