Hi First name / friend,

Happy Thursday! This week's newsletter is about the future - what do we need to do and build in order for us to heal the world
1. I wrote our first blog on the future while in Italy. You can read it here.
2. I wrote a new book summary. It is for Thom Hartmann's The Prophet's Way. It is a spiritual book and the message is: We each chose to be on Earth at this time in history to help save it and we can. If this type of book is your jam, read my summary here.
3. Read How to practice the gift economy now - by Nergiz, who has a degree in economics. It seems matriarchy and the gift economy are the way forward to stop the destruction of patriarchy and capitalism. What do you think? Let me know via email or Instagram DM!
4. STL folks: Join us this Saturday, June 6 for Community Connection! We'll be at Maplewood's Sutton Loop Park (across the street from Living Room Coffee and Kitchen). Leadership team member Angelica will kick us off with a workshop on what you need ready to go in case of an emergency. Bring over any food or drink from Living Room. I'll also purchase some sweet treats to share. Let me know you're coming so I can make sure to put out enough blankets/chairs in the park for our group.

4. ICYMI: Leadership team member Susan held her first Girls Gone Wiener's cathartic art making event: RAGE Painting. Check out the pics! Leadership team member Kelli wrote a beautiful Substack post about rage and the event here.
