As we step into the warmth of June, we find ourselves reflecting on a truth that guides everything we do here at Legacy Residential Homes. Jack Welch once said, "Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others." That philosophy is at the heart of our mission every single day. Our work is not measured by titles or accolades — it is measured in the young men who walk out of our doors more confident, more capable, and more prepared for the world ahead of them. It is measured in the staff members who show up, grow into their roles, and pour themselves into this community. Every milestone our residents reach, every skill our team develops, and every connection built within these walls is a reflection of what leadership through service truly looks like. This month brings with it so much to celebrate and look forward to. We are incredibly proud of what has been accomplished, and we are excited for what lies ahead. Thank you for being part of the Legacy family. With gratitude and purpose, LRH Leadership Team

resident tip of the month
Mastering the Laundry Process
Learning to do laundry is one of those everyday life skills that pays off for a lifetime. Once you have a solid routine down, it becomes second nature — and it means clean clothes whenever you need them. Here is a simple breakdown to get you started:
Step 1 — Gather & Prep: Start by collecting all of your dirty clothes and checking every pocket before anything goes in the wash. You will also want to empty the dryer's lint trap at this stage to keep things running safely and efficiently.
Step 2 — Sort: Never skip the sort! Separate your clothes into groups — lights, darks, and denim — and think about fabric weight as well. Washing similar colors and fabrics together prevents color bleeding and keeps your clothes looking newer, longer.
Building these habits early sets the foundation
